Literature Circle

Today we started another Literature Circle activity. Students are reading different books depending on their group. The book being read are Black Queen, The Sign of the Beaver, My Side of the Mountain and Toro Toro. Some classic titles and some well known authors.

The students will participate in different activities to demonstrate their understanding of the book. Next week students will complete a series of introductory activities. Depending on the group and the pace decided the following weeks will be focusing on reading and responding to the literature. Once finished reading the students will complete a final assignment to reflect on the story. Stay tuned to more as the weeks go on!
