File Under Screen Time / Parenting in 2019

I came across these 2 NPR articles that are unrelated in the sense that they are not about the same thing but when reading one I was reminded of the other. I am struck by the clear connection they have in terms of 21st century skills. Parents (or everyone) struggle (or doesn't) with the amount they or those in their family use a device. In an age where experience and culture play into your home routine and what you feel is acceptable or not when using a device it is more important than ever to look to research. In a sense everyone is learning to navigate this at the same time. And when I say everyone I mean parents, children, young adults, educators, policy makers, etc.
Have a look for yourself and leave a comment, I dare ya.
